Affiliate disclosure

1. Affiliate links on this tool

Passport Photo Spec (https://bordertriptools.com/passport-photo) currently carries no affiliate links at all. The gear links in the "Shooting the photo at home?" block are ordinary, untagged Amazon search links: we are not in the Amazon Associates programme, no other programme is wired here, and nobody pays the owner of this tool (José Manuel Volante González) if you click a link or buy something afterwards. This page states the position rather than leaving it assumed, in line with the FTC endorsement guides (16 CFR Part 255) and EU transparency rules (Directive 2005/29/EC). If that changes, this page is updated before the first paid link goes live.

2. What affiliate links never touch

The checker's verdicts — photo dimensions, head height, background uniformity and file-size compliance — are computed from the cited official sources only (travel.state.gov, gov.uk, ICAO Doc 9303 and national authorities). No verdict, threshold or piece of guidance on this site is influenced by monetisation.
